About Kamal Ahamada

Kamal Ahamada is an educator and independent lecturer with a rich and diverse background. Raised in France, Kamal pursued further studies in Denmark and England, cultivating a broad spectrum of academic interests. His research focuses on decolonial and critical race theories, the role of arts and culture in resistance movements, transgenerational trauma, and the complexities of solidarity politics. Kamal’s work is driven by a commitment to challenging systemic inequities and empowering marginalized communities through education and cultural engagement.

While the seminars do not assume any expert knowledge on the subject matter, we are looking for contributors commited to participation in a substantial research undertaking, over an eight month period (Sept – February, 2025). The workshops will happen tri-weekly, giving everyone time to read the material and prepare for a presentation and discussion. 

To apply write us an email and share a sentence or two about your interest in the course and any topics you are especially drawn to and why. We will accept up to 20 students and encourage a sliding scale donation of 45-90 eur. If you do not have eu citizenship or, for whatever other reason, may not be able to pay the fee, feel free to write to us and we can surely work something out.
