A cozy reading event in preparation for the Kombinatas Festival panel “How to Stay Lit?” a conversation on the role of social centers in our movements.
 
Let’s enjoy some warm food (prepared by Monika and Noah) have a drink on the patio, get familiar with the text, and discuss the importance of centers like Luna6 and their functions. As a preparation for the panel that will take place at Kombinatas, we want to generate ideas from our local context. Let us better understand what makes Luna6 unique and what the space means to all of us. As a result, we hope for a more fruitful discussion on August 11th with people from Emma (Kaunas) and Lymy (Helsinki).

“How to Stay Lit” is a reflection of 4 years of running the community center LYMY (Helsinki). It reflects on the vision(s), struggles and achievements of Lymy. The text is a substantial insight into the operation and organization of autonomous spaces. The text is short and accessible. We advise to familiarize yourself with it before the event if possible.

Jaukus skaitymo vakaras besiruošiant Kombinato Festivalio panelei „Pokalbis apie socialines erdves“.
Pasimėgaukim šilta vakariene (paruošta...?) ir gėrimu, susipažinkime su tekstu ir aptarkime bendruomenės centrų svarbą ir funkcijas. Besiruošiant Kombinato panelei, mes norime sugeneruoti idėjų is vietinio konteksto. Pagalvokime, kas padaro Luna6 ypatinga ir ką ši erdvė reiškia kiekvienam iš mūsų.
